Coronavirus Update

The latest dates for large scale indoor job fair events in the East Midlands have been delayed due to on-going government restrictions. It is hoped when circumstances change new dates will be released for 2021. To be the first to know when the next event is scheduled check out Job Fairs or at @thejobfairs.

Whether face-to-face or online, a Job Fair is a great way to speak with potential employers, giving you an opportunity to become more than just a few words written on a CV. Be ready to expand on your experience and display your personality all which can help increase your chances of getting an interview.

With the range of exhibitors, you have the chance to collect information about jobs; register with employers, ask those burning questions or apply for jobs. Some employers will even hold mini interviews at the fair. Be prepared to answer questions about your experiences and why you’re interested in working with them.

Greater Lincolnshire & Rutland Online Jobs and Career Fair

The GLLEP continue to host their popular Online Jobs and Career Fairs to find out when the event is visit their website. Why not find out which local employers are recruiting in your local area.  Use your time to browse employers booths and speak to exhibitors. 

Get some great hints and tips from the National Careers Service on how update your skills, experience and qualifications when applying for a job or updating your CV.

Entrance is free so if you are; looking for work, wanting to up-skill or thinking of a change in career, why not give it a go, you have nothing to lose.

To visit the virtual careers and jobs fair go to their website on the day or alternatively access the video resources at your leisure any time.  You can also look at the exhibition stands and send emails to the organisations direct too, even though the event may have finished.

East Midlands Careers Fair

The East Midlands Virtual Careers Fair takes place on the Wednesday 24th February 2021.

The event will attract hiring companies and job-seekers from all major cities and towns of the East Midlands including, but not limited to areas such as; Derby, Leicester, Lincolnshire, Northampton, Loughborough, and Nottinghamshire.
