Online Enrolments Guide

When signing up for a course, you will be prompted to either login to 'Lincolnshire' or to Sign up. 

If you already have signed up for a course on 2aspire before, use  your login details here. If not then click 'Sign up'.If you have forgotten your password, there is an option to reset your password by selecting 'New Password'. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clicking Sign up will bring up the screen on the left. Here you need to fill in the following fields:

  • Surname
  • House/No* - Your house number or name.
  • Postcode e.g. LN1 1XX
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • CAPTCHA Image -  as a security to check to make sure that you are a human, you just need to write the numbers you see in the box below. 

To go to the next page, you will need to tick the box saying that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.

 

 

 

Once you've pressed 'Next' on stage 1 of 2, you will then be asked to fill in the following details:

  • Title e.g. Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms
  • Name 

 

 

  • Your Address will be pre-filled using the postcode and house number you used in Stage 1. You are able to edit rows 2, 3 and 4 here if you wish (this is optional). 

 

 

 

  • Please enter at least one telephone number and complete your email address. This will be used to confirm your enrolment.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Ethnicity - please choose your ethnicity here by clicking on one of the options from the drop down list.
  • Residency - please choose your country of residency from the drop down list. If you have been a resident in the UK, European Union or European Economic Area for 3 years or more then you can continue registration and enrol on courses.

Fee benefit - Learners in receipt of qualifying benefits may be entitled to reduced fee rates for funded courses. Learners enrolling at reduced fee rates will be asked to send in evidence of their benefit following enrolment. Please note failure to provide this evidence will result in you being charged the full fee for your courses.If any of the following applies to you please select Concessionary:You receive Employment and Support Allowance, Job Seeker‘s Allowance, Universal Credit or other State Benefits.
You are employed and earn less than £17,004 per year before tax.

If none of these applies to you please select Standard.

 

  • Please choose a password - Your Password must be 8 to 20 characters long and have at least one capital letter, one lower case letter and one number.

 

 

 

 

  • "Can we send you emails?" - From time to time we would like to send you emails about your course or other information useful to you whilst you are studying with us. If this is OK with you, please tick the box. You will only receive communications from the Adult Learning service, and not from a third party.
  • Emergency Contact Name/Number - In the extremely unlikely event that we should need to contact someone to advise them of an accident or incident involving you, we need a nominated contact and contact number.
  • Your Prior Attainment Level - Please indicate the highest Level of Qualification you hold at the time of registering. This can be any qualification and does not have to be related to courses you are interested in.
  • Learning Difficulties, Disabilities and/or Conditions - We help learners with additional needs in a variety of ways, so please advise us of any learning difficulties or disabilities. We are always available to talk, so please contact us if you would like to discuss any support needs. We are here to help! If you do not have a learning difficulty, disability or health problems which may affect your learning, please leave the three options as 'Not provided'.

 

Once you have done this, you will now be able to go to a course and select 'Book a Place'.

Accredited Courses

When enrolling onto an accredited course (a course that leads to a qualification), you will need to fill in the following:

  • Geographic Area - Please select from the drop-down list.
  • Your contact preferences - this is whether you would like to be contacted by Lincolnshire Adult Skills or by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency).
  • Previous Level of Education - Please indicate the highest Level of Qualification you hold at the time of registering. This can be any qualification and does not have to be related to courses you are interested in.

 

Your Employment Details

  • National Insurance Number - This is made up of 2 letters, 6 numbers and a final letter, for example QQ 12 34 56 A. You can find your National Insurance number on your payslip, your P60, on letters about your tax, pension or benefits or in the National Insurance section of your personal tax account.
  • Your employment status - Please select from the drop-down list. 
  • Date of employment status - The date of your employment status is only the date that you are declaring this to be correct from (e.g. today). It does not have to be the date that you were actually employed or unemployed.
  • Your learning difficulties or disabilities

  • Household Situation
  • Your Residency Status
  • Privacy Notice - You will need to tick the option to say that you have read the Privacy Notice if you want to continue.

 

Non-Accredited Courses

When enrolling onto a non-accredited course (a course that doesn't lead to a qualification), you will need to fill in the following:

    • Your contact preferences - this is whether you would like to be contacted by Lincolnshire Adult Skills or by the ESFA (Education and Skills Funding Agency).
    • Employment Status - Please select from the drop-down list. 
    • Date of employment status - The date of your employment status is only the date that you are declaring this to be correct from (e.g. today). It does not have to be the date that you were actually employed or unemployed.
    • Your learning difficulties or disabilities
    • Your Residency Status - Either tick box or delete.
    • Privacy Notice - You will need to tick the option to say that you have read the Privacy Notice if you want to continue.

 


 

 

 

 

 

After pressing 'Continue' on the previous screen, you will have to press 'Book a place'.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you have pressed 'Book a Place', you will see that you have successfully enrolled onto the course.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The confirmation email you receive will look similar to the confirmation email seen on the left. This will contain the start date of your course and the location. The learning provider associated with the course you have enrolled on will be in touch with you with further instructions.
