There are a huge amount of volunteering opportunities available around the county, from small, local, organisations to large national charities. Your local volunteer centre will be able to provide you with advice on all things volunteering. They also have a database of current opportunities from around the county, whatever your interest they’re sure to have something that will interest you. The Volunteer Centre helps maintain a national database of opportunities, www.do-it.org.uk, so even if you are looking for something further afield they will be able to point you in the right direction.
